About Hope

Hi, I'm Pasha Khoshkebari. I built Hope because I believe education is overdue for a fundamental shift in how students interact with their coursework.

The traditional study experience hasn't changed much in decades. You get a textbook, a problem set, and you're expected to figure it out. When you get stuck, your options are limited: wait for office hours, search for a similar example online, or give up and move on. None of these are good enough.

Technology has the potential to change this entirely. Not by replacing teachers or doing the work for students, but by providing intelligent, always-available guidance that meets students exactly where they are. That's what Hope does.

The vision

I want to redefine what it means to study. Instead of passively rereading notes or watching lectures on repeat, students should have tools that actively engage them. Tools that understand their course material, break down overwhelming assignments into manageable pieces, and guide them through problems step by step.

Hope is built on a simple principle: the best way to learn is by doing, and the best kind of help is the kind that keeps you thinking. That's why our AI tutor never gives away answers. It asks the right questions, points you in the right direction, and lets you experience the satisfaction of figuring it out yourself.

Why this matters

Every student has experienced the frustration of staring at a problem and not knowing where to start. That feeling is the number one driver of procrastination. It's not laziness. It's overwhelm.

Hope tackles this directly. By breaking assignments into individual problems, providing context from your own course materials, and offering hints instead of solutions, we make the first step obvious and every step after that reachable.

This is just the beginning. I'm committed to building tools that make quality education more accessible, more engaging, and more effective for every student.
